An evening with Barbra Kolasinski Make Your Own Pom Pom
Time & Location
About The Event
Scottish fashion designer Barbra Kolasinski is well known for her use of bold colours, use of fake and waste fur and playful textures. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art she then went onto complete a Masters at London College of Fashion which culminated on the catwalk of London Fashion Week in 2014, she then continued in London working for Alexander McQueen. Taking all this knowledge she then returned to her native Glasgow to create Barbra Kolasinski the brand.
A firm favourite at Super Market we are very pleased to be hosting an evening with this unique Scottish fashion designer which includes a ‘Make Your Own Pom Pom’ for you to take home.
Barbra will give you an overview of her fashion journey, inspiration and a sneak peak at ideas for her next collection. She will then show you some basic sewing techniques- perfect to refresh even the basic of sewers and then work through how to make your very own sheepskin Pom Pom. This is set to be a very fun event, with bubbly refreshments provided for over 18s. All ages and skills welcome but a basic knowledge of sewing is useful, such as threading a needle and basic hand sewing.
A very special event for anyone with an interest in fashion and a fun evening to enlighten your creative side!
